1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text value stored by a browser for a defined period. It can maintain a secure session, remember a choice or provide information about how a service is used.

2. Cookies used by Datvero

• Authentication and security cookies required to maintain a session and protect requests.
• site_locale: remembers a footer language choice for up to one year; the URL remains the source of truth and no automatic redirect is performed.
• No analytics cookie is currently used. Cookieless public-page measurement and its sanitised server-side PostHog processing are documented in the privacy policy.

3. Managing cookies

You can remove or block cookies through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary authentication or security cookies may prevent account features from working. Optional cookies, if offered, can be refused without losing core public-page access.

4. Third-party cookies

Datvero does not use active advertising, social-media or analytics cookies. PostHog is a server-side analytics processor for sanitised public-page events and does not set or read a browser cookie in this integration.

5. Retention

• Session cookies expire when the session ends or according to their security lifetime.
• The site_locale preference lasts up to one year.
• Any optional persistent cookie is limited to the period stated in the consent interface and this policy.

6. Your choices and rights

You may withdraw consent to non-essential cookies at any time. Data-protection requests can be sent to contact@datvero.com.

7. Changes

This policy may be updated when browser storage, providers or legal requirements change. The current date is shown at the top of the page.
